Text alerts
A small number of places go on sale at a published minute, and they do not last long. If you would rather not watch an inbox for it, Beats & Branches can text you instead.
Entirely optional, and separate from your ticket
This list is for people deciding whether to come. You do not need to be on it to buy, and joining it does not put you on any other list. If you already have a ticket, the messages that matter on the weekend are a different thing — text updates for ticket holders covers those, and they are urgent only.
What you get
- When tickets go on sale
- The date, and the time on the day — before it happens, not after.
- Presale reminders
- If you have a code and have not used it, one nudge before it expires.
- Lineup announcements
- Who is playing, as they are confirmed.
- When something sells out
- So you are not deciding about a place that has already gone.
Message frequency varies — expect a handful around an on-sale and close to nothing the rest of the year. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers do not guarantee delivery, so this is a convenience and never the only place we say something.
How to join
Not open yet
The number is still being registered with the mobile carriers, which takes a couple of weeks and cannot be rushed. Until it is live there is nothing to text, so we are not printing a keyword that would bounce.
In the meantime, the Discord is where announcements land first, and it is where the on-sale will be called.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and you will not get another one. It takes effect immediately and you do not have to explain yourself. Reply HELP for our contact details, or ask in the Discord and we will remove your number by hand.
Leaving this list has no effect on a ticket you have already bought, and does not stop the emails that carry your QR code — those are how you get through the gate.
Who holds your number
Your number is held by our text-message provider, who send the messages on our behalf. It is not stored on this website — this site has no signup form and collects nothing. The privacy policy says exactly who holds what, and how to have it deleted.
We keep a record of when you texted in, because carrier rules require us to be able to show that you asked for these messages.
